Bradley J. Willies

Bradley J. Willis has practiced exclusively as a trial lawyer for 30 years, mostly in Edmonton. After being admitted to the Bar in 1976, he worked as a Crown Prosecutor and then rejoined Ogilvie & Co., where he had articled, and became a partner. Subsequently, he practiced in Red Deer (Vandenbrink, Willis & Elgersma) and returned to Edmonton in 1991 to join the firm of Cleall Pahl. He joins us from Willis, Bokenfohr & Co., with whom he has been associated since 1998 in Edmonton. Brad taught Economics for some years as a sessional lecturer at the University of Alberta and (in French, which he speaks fluently) at its Campus St.-Jean. He has been Edmonton City Chess Champion, and while plotting a comeback, sings in the choir at St. Luke’s Anglican Church in Edmonton. He is married and he and his wife Zetta have three grown children.  They live in Edmonton near Mill Creek, almost as close as possible to Sherwood Park.

Barry King

Barry King was admitted to practice in Alberta in 1981. His experience in the practice of law is wide ranging, with over 25 years experience in real estate transactions, civil litigation, estate planning and will preparation, estate administration, and bankruptcy and insolvency matters. Barry has practiced with several Edmonton law firms since 1981, including Cooke Shandling, Cruickshank Phillips, and McLennan Ross. Barry's extended family has lived in the County of Strathcona since 1950 and he has resided with his wife and daughters in Sherwood Park since 1982. Barry graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Science (with distinction) prior to obtaining his law degree in 1980. He enjoys long distance running and has completed several marathons and triathlons.

Vincent Tong

Vincent Tong was admitted to the Bar in September, 2004. Vince focuses on civil litigation, while also being interested in commercial and intellectual property law.  He obtained his BA (with distinction) in Political Science from the University of Alberta in 2000, spent a year on exchange at Royal Holloway College, University of London, and then graduated from the University of Alberta law school in 2003.  When he worked at the Legislative Assembly of Alberta, Vince assisted with the planning and execution of the visit of HRH Prince Michael of Kent in 2002. Vincent was also involved with the Maple Leaf Legacy Project, a volunteer effort to photograph all Canadian war graves around the world.  Vince is an avid motorsports fan and participant, tinkering with his cars and competing with a 1974 Saab 99 rallycar, which he restored for racing purposes.
