Barry King was admitted to practice in Alberta in 1981. His experience in the practice of law is wide ranging, with over 30 years experience in real estate transactions, civil litigation, matrimonial law, personal injury law, estate planning and will preparation, estate administration, and bankruptcy and insolvency matters. Barry has practiced with several Edmonton law firms since 1981, including Cooke Shandling, Cruickshank Phillips, and McLennan Ross. Barry's extended family has lived in the County of Strathcona since 1950 and he has resided with his wife and daughters in Sherwood Park since 1982. Barry graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Science (with distinction) prior to obtaining his law degree in 1980. He enjoys long distance running and has completed several marathons and triathlons.

Vincent Tong was admitted to the Alberta Bar in September 2004. Roughly half of his practice is family law, with the balance spread around general civil litigation, personal injury and wrongful death litigation, wills and estates, and real estate. He obtained his BA (with distinction) in Political Science from the University of Alberta in 2000, spent a year on exchange at Royal Holloway College, University of London, and then graduated from the University of Alberta, Faulty of Law in 2003. When he worked at the Legislative Assembly of Alberta, Vince assisted with the planning and execution of the visit of HRH Prince Michael of Kent in 2002. Vince was also involved with the Maple Leaf Legacy Project, a volunteer effort to photograph all Canadian war graves around the world. Vince is an avid motorsports fan and enjoys tinkering with his cars, travel to warmer places, and family time with his wife, daughter and Yorkie.

Katherine Palmer was admitted to practice in Alberta in 2011. She has a general practice including family law, general civil and commercial litigation, real estate, wills and estates and bankruptcy and insolvency matters. Katherine obtained a BA (Hons) with First Class Honours in history from the University of Alberta in 2004 and graduated with an LLB (with distinction) from the University of Alberta in 2009. Katherine was the recipient of the Horace Harvey Medal as the top student in her law school graduating class. Following law school, Katherine clerked with the Alberta Court of Appeal in Edmonton before finishing her articles with a major regional law firm in Edmonton where she practiced until she joined Strathcona Law Group in 2013. She enjoys hiking, running and chasing after her three young children.
Kyle McKinney was admitted to practice in Alberta in 2013. He has a general practice in the areas of civil and commercial litigation, contractual disputes, foreclosures, asset financing, security enforcement and employment law matters. In addition, Kyle has a general solicitor’s practice which focuses on commercial law, real property law, and corporate law. Kyle has experience working with individuals and independent business clients in areas relating to real estate, joint ventures, commercial leasing, franchises, incorporations, corporate reorganizations, shareholder agreements, partnership agreements, shareholder disputes and purchases and sales of businesses. Kyle obtained a BA from the University of Alberta in 2005 and graduated with an LLB (with Honours) from Queen's University, Belfast in 2009. He also attended the Oxford Institute of Legal Practice where he was jointly awarded a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice by the University of Oxford and Oxford Brookes University in 2010. Linnea Goodhand was admitted to the Saskatchewan Bar in 1988, the Manitoba Bar in 1996, and the Alberta Bar in 1998. She has practiced in Lloydminster, AB/SK since 1998 in the areas of family breakdown, estate planning, residential real estate, and collections. She obtained a BA Honours in History and Political Science from the University of Winnipeg in 1984. She obtained her LLB from the University of Saskatchewan in 1987 and has continued her legal education in the areas of mediation, collaborative family law, and interest based negotiations. She completed a 4 year team as a Lloydminster City Councilor in October of 2016 and is a member of the Lakeland College Board of Governors. She is married to Dale Beaudry and they have two adult, but not yet financially independent, daughters, Emily and Ellie. Recent empty nesters, she and Dale moved from Lloydminster to Sherwood Park to work, golf, and run.
