Vincent Tong was admitted to the Alberta Bar in September 2004. The majority of his practice is family law, advocating for clients from a practical perspective in parenting, support and property issues. Vince is a Registered Collaborative Family Lawyer, and can assist family law clients in the traditional adversarial manner or through the Collaborative process. The balance of Vince’s practice is a mixture of real estate, general civil litigation, personal injury and wrongful death litigation and wills and estates. Vince obtained his BA (with distinction) in Political Science from the University of Alberta in 2000, spending a year on exchange in England at Royal Holloway College, University of London, and then graduated from the University of Alberta, Faulty of Law in 2003. When he worked at the Legislative Assembly of Alberta, Vince assisted with the planning and execution of HRH Prince Michael of Kent’s visit in 2002, and was also involved with the Maple Leaf Legacy Project, a volunteer effort to photograph all Canadian war graves around the world. Vince is an avid motorsports fan and enjoys tinkering with his cars, travel to warmer places, and family time with his wife, daughters and Yorkie.
